This tutorial explains how to navigate and understand the patient profile within the Emerge application. You will learn to access key patient information and manage related clinical and administrative data effectively.

2. Locate Patient Demographics

Opened and we're going to have a look at the different things within it. The first is the patient's demographics. They're located at the top here.

As I scroll down, on the left-hand side is the cumulative patient profile, and it's here where you find any forms the patient has completed.

On the right hand side here you can see upcoming appointments.

6. Access Appointment History

If you click see history, you can also see the appointments this patient has completed, which appointments have been cancelled, and which appointments the patient has missed. As I scroll down a little bit.

7. Review Clinical Notes And Prescriptions

I can see the different sections. The first is clinical notes. This is where all chart notes for this patient are kept. The next is prescriptions. This is where the patient's prescriptions and how to prescribe.

Prescription live. Next are clinical documents. This is where you'll send requisitions, imaging, or keep any documents that are received from outside of the clinic.

This is the referral section where you can see the referrals that have been accepted or are pending for this specific patient. Next is the e-fax history section, and it is here that you can see whether a fax has been sent, rejected, or failed for this patient. Next
