Scheduling Appointments in EMERGE

This article explains how to create and manage appointments within EMERGE.

1. Introduction

You will learn how to schedule new appointments, select practitioners, set times, and configure notifications.

2. Access Appointments Section

Click "Appointments" to open the appointments section in EMERGE.

3. Initiate New Appointment

Click "New Appointment" to start scheduling a new appointment.

4. Open Practitioner Dropdown

Click the dropdown arrow to view available practitioners.

5. Select Practitioner

Click on the name of the Doctor to assign this practitioner to the appointment.

6. Open Time Selection Dropdown

Click the dropdown arrow to set the appointment time.

7. Open Date and Time Picker

Click the date and time picker to adjust the appointment schedule.

8. Open Patient Selection

Click the dropdown arrow to view the patients.

9. Select the Patient

Select the patient for the appointment.

10. Open Consultation Reason Field

Click "Reason for Consultation" to specify the purpose of the appointment.

11. Open Visit Type Dropdown

Click "Visit Type *" to select the type of visit for the appointment.

12. Activate Notification Setting

Click "Send notifications to the patient" to activate notification settings.

13. Confirm Patient Notifications

Click "Does not repeat" to specify whether the appointment will repeat (weekly, monthly, or annually).
