1. Access Patient Records
Click on "Patients" to open the patient records section in EMERGE.
2. Adding a Patient
Click "New patient" to start adding a new patient.
3. Enter the Patient's Demographic Information
Please enter the patient's demographic information in the fields provided.
4. Hide Sensitive Information
If you wish, you can conceal sensitive information by selecting the "Hide Sensitive Information" icon.
5. Enter the Patient's Email Address
Click "Email" to enter the patient's email address. This is crucial, as this is the email the patient will use to register on EMERGE.
6. If applicable, Select the Referring Physician
If the patient was referred to the clinic, select the "Referring Physician" who made the referral from the drop down menu.
7. If appilcable, Select the Primary Physician
If applicable, select the "Primary Physician" from the drop-down menu.
8. If applicable, Select the Family Physician
If applicable, select the "Family Physician" from the drop-down menu.
9. Select the Patient's Preferred Pharmacy
Under "Preferences," choose the patient's preferred pharmacy from the menu. Once selected, click the "Save" button.
