1. Access the "Appointments Window"
To create an appointment type, you must be in the "Appointments Window." Select the "Appointments" option located on the left side of the Dashboard..
2. Select the "Settings" Button
Once you are in the "Appointments Window," click the "Settings" button located in the top right corner.
3. Select the "Appointment Types" Category
Click on the "Appointment Types" category to view and manage various appointment options.
4. Click on the "New Appointment Type" Button
From here, you're going to click on the "New Appointment Type" button that can be found on the right-hand side.
5. Name your Appointment
Next, create a name for your appointment.
6. Adding an Appointment Description
You can write the description of the appointment that will be visible on the online booking pages.
7. Select a Billing Type
You will then select the billing type from the drop-down menu. The options include: OHIP Covered Appointment, Private Appointment, Other, and Integrated Online Payment.
8. Making the Appointment Available for Online Booking
You can enable online booking for the appointment by toggling the switch on or off.
9. Select Visit Type
If an appointment is available for online booking, you can select the visit type for this appointment from the options listed below. You may choose one or more options.
10. Enable Referral Appointments
If the appointment type is a referred appointment, enable the "Referral" toggle.
11. Save the Appointment Type
Once you have completed selecting your options, click "Save."
12. Confirm Appointment Creation
Congratulations! You've created an appointment type.
You have successfully created and configured a new appointment type in the Emerge application. You can now manage bookings and customize additional appointment settings as needed.
