Create Breaks Efficiently On EMERGE Scheduling

You will learn how to set break times and reasons to effectively manage your breaks or days off.

2. Open Appointments Section

Click the Appointments menu to access your schedule or that of your team.

3. Select Specific Date

In the Day view, click on the date at the top of the calendar to select the desired date for creating the break.

4. Choose Day

You can easily navigate between months and days to select your desired date.

5. Access Break Options

Click on the time slot when you want your break to begin. If you accidentally select the wrong slot, you can adjust it later. Please note that if your user has multiple columns, you can create breaks for each column.

6. Select Break Type

Click the Break option to begin setting up a break period in your schedule.

7. Select Start Hour

Here, you can review the start and end times for your break.

8. Enter Break Reason

Enter your break reason as Away for example to indicate unavailability during this time.

9. Review Break Details

Review the appointment break details including type, date, start time, end time, and duration to ensure accuracy.

10. Open Repeat Options

You also have the option to set the break as recurrent if you need it to repeat on a specific schedule, such as daily or weekly.

Click "Does not repeat" to view the recurrence options for the break.

11. Save Break Entry

Once you are satisfied with your input, you can proceed to save by clicking the designated area to finalize the scheduling process. You can repeat this with other providers or dates at any time.

You have successfully created a break in the EMERGE scheduling system by selecting the date, setting start and end times, specifying a reason, and saving the entry.

This allows you to manage your availability effectively and keep your appointment calendar up to date!
